National security starts with an understanding that our country was established with certain values, freedoms and rules. We swear allegiance to our flag and country. We tolerate differences of opinion, individuals’ rights, freedom of speech, religious, cultural and physical diversity.
Within all our freedoms we still obey all our State and Federal laws.
If individuals or groups function outside of these fundamental beliefs then they should not be allowed to visit or reside in our country.
As noted in International Relations, we shall review all international agreements to which Australia is a signatory and evaluate whether they are in the National Interest. This will include direct and indirect potential threats to our National Security.
