No More Parks for Central West Victoria

ATTENTION OUTDOOR RECREATION ENTHUSIASTS in Victoria.
This could affect you.

There is movement to turn the majority of State Forests in Central West Victoria into State Parks and time is running out.
If these areas are turned to State or even National Parks the public land in the area, including the State Forests will be CLOSED to hunting, gold prospecting, bottle and artefact collecting, fuel reduction burns, managed wood collection of fallen and dead timber, stream clearing, 4WD and trail bike riding, dog and other pet exercising. Camping will be restricted to designated camp sites with payment of entry fee to the National Park and camp fees. Horse riding may be allowed on specially designated tracks with payment of the permit fees, however extremely limited and a good chance not at all. Beekeeping will be allowed with payment of permit fees at specially designated hive sites.

We need to act now to prevent activists from getting their way. Please submit your thoughts at http://www.veac.vic.gov.au/investigation/central-west-investigation/upload
by Monday 21 August 2017.
